Application
1.Scandium Oxide is applied in optical coating, catalyst, electronic ceramics and laser industry.
2.It is also used annually in making high-intensity discharge lamps. A high melting white solid used in high-temperature systems (for its resistance to heat and thermal shock), electronic ceramics, and glass composition.
3.Suitable for vacuum deposition applications.
4.It can be used as the evaporation material of semiconductor coating to make solid-state laser with variable wavelength and high definition TV electron gun and metal halide lamp
