Micro-nano molybdenum disilicide powder prepared by variable current laser ion beam gas phase method, high purity, small particle size, uniform distribution, is a kind of engineering materials, MoSi2 = 152.12, density 6.26 g/ cm3, melting point 2030 ºC, with electrical conductivity, at high temperatures the surface of the formation of a silica passivation layer to prevent further oxidation, MoSi2 is a binary alloy of Mo-Si system containing high silicon content of an intermediate phase, with both metal and ceramic properties. MoSi2 is an intermediate phase with high silicon content in the Mo-Si binary alloy system, which has the dual characteristics of metal and ceramic. Molybdenum disilicide has good high-temperature oxidation resistance, high-temperature plasticity, thermal and electrical conductivity and fluidity, and has applications in the field of high-temperature structural ceramics.
