High vapor pressure (250ºC : 1.45×103Pa, 300ºC : 2.13×104Pa), easy to sublimate. The relative density is 6.103(4 ~ 25ºC). Hygroscopic is very strong, easily soluble in water to form a strong acid - perrhenic acid HReO4. It is soluble in ethanol but insoluble in ether. The substance can be analyzed by the tetraphenylarsenic chloride method.
