Functions and Applications
 

Cesium carbonate can be used as a modification layer between the active layer of a solar cell and the Al electrode, enhancing the conversion efficiency of the device, generating Al-O-Cs compounds, reducing the series resistance of the battery, increasing the short-circuit current and photoelectric conversion efficiency of the solar cell, and due to the compactness of the cesium carbonate layer itself, the stability of the device has also been significantly improved. The strong n-type heavy doping effect of the strong metallic property of cesium in cesium carbonate can significantly enhance the injection of electrons, and the Al/CsCO cathode modified by the cesium carbonate nano-interface can significantly improve the performance of inverted top-emitting structure OLED devices. Cesium carbonate is also used as a catalyst in the synthesis of alkyl aromatic ethers.
