1.Soluble in dilute acids, manganese reacts with water in water and can interact with halogens, sulphur, phosphorus, carbon and silicon. When melting, manganese vapour forms oxide with oxygen in the air. It has cubic and tetragonal forms and a complex crystal structure.
2.This product has the advantages of purity and low impurity. It is an important alloying element in the production of stainless steel, high-strength low-alloy steel, aluminium-manganese alloy, copper-manganese alloy, etc. It is also an indispensable raw material in the production of ferrite, permanent magnet alloy element and manganese salt used in many medicinal and chemical industries; newly developed vibration-damping alloys are also required to be used with manganese metal powder.
