Applications

Used for melting piezoelectric ceramics such as zirconium bricks, zirconium tubes, crucibles, household ceramics, refractory materials, and precious metals. It is also used in the production of steel and non-ferrous metals, optical glass, and zirconia fibers. It can also be used for ceramic pigments, electrostatic coatings, baking paints, etc. Used in epoxy resin to increase resistance to high temperature saltwater corrosion.
