The hardness, scratch resistance and wear resistance of the coating made by adding nano-alumina can be greatly improved, and the wear resistance of the coating is 2-4 times higher than the traditional coating.

The addition of nano-alumina can reduce the volume shrinkage of the coating during curing and improve the adhesion between the coating and the substrate.

Application 

The wear resistance and binding force of the epoxy resin filled with 1-5% nano-alumina powder are equivalent to those of the epoxy resin without nano-powder, and the wear resistance is increased by about 130%, and the binding strength is increased by about 50%. Nanometer alumina particles with high surface energy are evenly embedded in the three-dimensional network structure formed after epoxy resin curing, and its pinning effect is obvious, effectively enhancing the internal bonding force of epoxy resin, so it can withstand greater stress without damage.

The anti-scratch performance of nano-paint with nano-alumina is improved. The length of nano paint adhesive molecules is relatively large, and when subjected to external loads, such as car wash brushes, sand on the road, ultraviolet radiation, and erosion of chemical media, nano paint can maintain its luster for a longer time.
