Calcium nitride , chemical formula Ca3N2, is a brownish powder that oxidises in air and hydrolyses in water, producing calcium hydroxide and releasing AN, and is soluble in dilute acids.

Application 

Used as the main raw material for chemical reagent, hydrogen storage material and high-end phosphor.
