4. La(OH)3 is an important intermediate product of lanthanum products, La2O3 can be obtained by calcination, and in addition to the generation of lanthanum oxide in the entire process of heating decomposition, the byproduct is only water, so lanthanum hydroxide can be used as a high-quality raw material for lanthanum oxide production.
