Features

A lemon yellow to brown powder. The relative density is 2.44~3.60. Melting point 350~400ºC. Insoluble in water, alcohol, soluble in acid. The fine powder is a crystalline iron oxide hydrate. Due to different production methods and operating conditions, the degree of hydration is different, and the crystal structure and physical properties are very different. Coloring power, covering power, light resistance, acid resistance, alkali resistance, heat resistance are good. Above 150ºC, it decomposes into crystal water and turns red. Inhalation of dust can cause pneumoconiosis, and the maximum allowable concentration in the air is 5mg/m2.

Application

Suitable for all kinds of paint, paint coloring, can be used in paint primer, putty, paint coloring. Suitable for the construction industry, colored cement, used in color tile, brick, artificial marble, plaster, ground terrazzo, wall paint, sidewalk floor tiles, colored ground and other colorants. Colorants or fillers for plastics and rubber products such as polyolefin, vinyl resin, ABS resin, polystyrene, polycarbonate, nylon and polyformaldehyde according to actual needs.
