1. Electrochemical capacitor

 

Mo2N can be used as capacitor electrode material, which is a kind of energy storage material.

 

2. Catalytic materials

 

Mo2N can replace noble metal catalyst, and has high catalytic activity for hydrohydrolysis and isomerization reactions. Mo2N/γ-Al2O3 composites can be compared with platinum and iridium precious metals.

 

3. Material modification

 

Molybdenum nitride has the characteristics of high melting point and hardness, good thermal and mechanical stability, excellent corrosion resistance. It can be used as a coating material or as an additive material.
