Features

TaC=192.96, including carbon 6.224%, for brown solid powder, hard, but the nature is heavy, has the very high chemical stability and the good high temperature performance. The density is 14.5g/cm3, the melting point:3875ºC, boiling point:5500ºC. The tantalum carbide attritive powder is one important cermet material, makes the cutting tool with it, may bear 3800ºC the following high temperature, and causes degree of hardness to be possible with long standing reputation diamond beautiful US, but the price is quite high. As the tungsten base hard alloy's grain refining medicinal preparation, may enhance the alloy performance obviously, its amount used achieves the tungsten carbide base hard alloy output 0.5~5%.
