TC4(Ti-6Al-4V) and TA7(Ti-5Al-2.5Sn) titanium alloys were modified by two injection schemes. The test shows that after ion implantation, the microhardness of titanium alloys is improved, the sliding friction coefficient is significantly reduced, and the wear resistance is effectively improved. X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) analysis of injected and uninjected samples was carried out to find out the modification mechanism, and satisfactory results were obtained.
