It has good oxidation resistance and is soluble in WANGSHUI but insoluble in water. The chemical properties of tungsten disilicide are as follows: it can react violently with many substances, such as strong acids, FU, oxidising agents and interhalogen compounds.
Application
1. Nano WSi2 is often used in microelectronics as a haptic material where the resistance is 60-80u Qcm.
2. It is often used as a shunt on polysilicon wires to increase the conductivity and signal speed of polysilicon wires.
3. Used to make antioxidant covering layer and resistive wire dressing.
